26.2 RRC win the Mob Match!

Thank you to the 194 members, friends, family, kids and dogs who turned out to help us win this year’s 26.2 RRC vs The Stragglers mob match. With 194 representing 26.2 against 101 for The Stragglers, we gave them the stuffing they deserve!

We have only won the trophy twice before in our history, in 1987 and 1989, so this really shows the strengths that our club has risen to this year. Thanks to all members for making this a great club and especially to captain Kevin Stone for inspiring us all to turn out.

The mob prize was not the only one for 26.2 RRC. Chris Rawcliffe finished in first place, Stanley lead David George round to win first dog and Sue Grecian made it round with help from crutches and a wheel chair to take the golden boot.

Well done to all who took part. We look forward to giving them an even bigger thrashing when they come to us for the same event next year.
