26.2 Website Administrators CANNOT tell you what your exisiting password is. Why? because we don’t know what it is!
Passwords are stored in an encrypted format in the database and the only way to regain access to the site after forgetting your password is to have it reset to a new one and then change it yourself to one you want to use.
It’s good practice to change your password every so often. The password you choose can make it easy or hard for malicious people to gain access to your website account.
