We still have 4 places to fill in the teams we have entered for this year’s Endure24 taking place on 28th/29th June 2014.
Endure24 is a relay race held near Reading, which is run on a 5 mile loop on forest trails with teams attempting to run as many laps as possible in 24 hours. The club has run in the event for the last two years and everyone agrees it’s a lot of fun that is slightly different to your normal race. We’ve entered four teams in the 6-8 runners category, so in 24 hours you can probably expect to run 3-4 laps of the course. It doesn’t matter how fast or slow you are, everyone is welcome including non-running families/kids who can camp for free.
Last year the event attracted 780 runners and this year there will be 1800 so it’s going to be even bigger and even more more fun. As Endure24 say: “It’s Glastonbury for runners (but with clean loos and hot showers).”
Entry is £35 which includes camping, technical t-shirt and medal. If you are interested then please email me ASAP. If you’re unsure about this event then check out the Endure24 website then ask someone that’s previously run Endure24 on one of our club nights and they can fill you in on the details.
