We now have an even better deal for those of you interested in getting a hi-viz technical T-shirt. Club member Robb Reeves has agreed to supply the shirts in either a bright orange or bright green including printing and VAT for a very reasonable £8.
Another advantage is that the minimum order is for just 10 T-shirts, rather than the previous minimum of 50. As before, these T-shirts are designed as training tops for wearing on darker evenings rather than for 26.2 races / Grand Prix. I appreciate the variety of colours will not please everyone, but the consensus is that the priority is to send a clear message to Members of ‘let’s be careful out there…’ It is also hoped that the printing (which will have the distinctive ‘two runners’ logo and website on the back, and a small 26.2 badge on the front) will hopefully result in a greater identity and promotion for the Club when we out running in the surrounding area than at present. I have therefore replaced the previous list on the noticeboard and would appreciate it if all of you could fill in your requests by the end of July. Please note the T-shirts have slightly different sizes than before, so please select carefully (N.B. could those that put their orders on the previous list please update their selection). Also please be clear if you want a bright orange or bright green T-shirt, or both! Robb has brought along samples to a couple of recent events, and the impression is that the sizing is quite accurate. The sizes on offer are as follows: X-SMALL 35″, SMALL 38″, MEDIUM 40″, LARGE 43″, X-LARGE 45″, XX-LARGE 48″, XXX-LARGE 50″
