Finaly had the correct results for Ladies Cross Country on 19th October, and we did really well, 3rd team overall and only 2 points behind the 2nd team, Ranelagh! That puts us in promotion to Division 1 if we can keep a fast “A” team for the next 3 matches!
Well done to everyone who ran, and look forward to seeing you all (and more) at the next match at Coulsdon on Sat Dec 7th at 12 noon, 6k. Race is on Farthing Downs, a 15 minute walk from race HQ at SLH club house 194a Brighton Road, Coulsdon CR5 2NF. There is a car park near the HQ, or one at the end of Ditches Lane that runs through the Downs. Will liase re car sharing nearer the time.
Divisions 1 and 2 run together but these results are for Division 2, so at our first match our “A” team was Katherine Wilson 2nd 25.22, Maggie Stacey 5th 26.34, Maryka Senema 16th, 27.39, Libby Marchant 23rd 28.34 and Tessa Lambert 32nd 29.18.Our “B” team was lead home by Katherine Franklin 29.23, then Sarah Pettefer 31.23, Kirsty Mitchell 32.54, Karen Hardy 36.05 and Kate Handcock 36.08. The “C” team was Ann Bath 37.08, Maria Cenalmore 37.26, Jo Newstead 38.45 and Amy Tomlins 38.52. So well done to everyone especially those for whom it was their first cross country race, hope you will be back for more!
