Regular Monday sessions
On Monday’s we meet at 19:00 at Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club. Following a short announcement covering upcoming events we divide into groups to go out for local runs.
The run groups vary by pace and distance to be covered. There will typically be 3 or 4 groups going out at different paces. The faster groups will typically run further at around 7 miles, other groups will cover distances between 4 and 6 miles. The runs will generally take a maximum of 1 hour.
If you are unsure about whether you will fit into a group, please contact us giving details of your current running ability and we will help to find a run suitable for you. We aim to accommodate all levels of runner.
The routes taken are around Surbiton and the local area. Often runs will take in local parks including Bushy and Richmond. We are more likely to visit parks in the summer months. Why not check out our Strava profiles to see where we frequently run?
In winter months our runs occur in the dark. Please wear suitable hi-vis clothing.
Summer Richmond Park runs
On the first Monday in June, July, August and September we meet in Richmond park for our Monday session. With the exception of September, we meet at the Kingston Gate car park. In September we meet by Ham Gate. Please park outside the park gates in September as the park gates close before the end of our run.
