If you are thinking of ordering a running top from the new kit supplier Champion Systems, then hopefully the following info will be of some use to you.

Whilst figuring out which style of new running top I want to order from Champion System I found it a little confusing what the differences between the styles were. When selecting an item to order there is a “more info” button however this didn’t do anything for me when I clicked it (probably caused by the internet browser version I was using at work, or my work’s firewall restrictions). I did however find that if I added the items to my basket, went to check out, then some of the items then had a clickable link (listed in the table below) which then took me to the “more info” pages. The “more info” pages for each item have a more detailed description and a zoomable picture of an example, so you can get a better idea of what the item will look like than the mock-up examples on the contact sheets showing items in our club colours. I’ve compiled this info for the t-shirts and vests into tables below for comparison in case anyone has similar issues to me where the “more info” button does not work.

The main differences between the types of garments is the type of fabric used (more expensive = more breathable fabric) and the top end items also have mesh panels in certain locations rather than using the same fabric for the whole of the garment. The top end items also seem to be constructed from more panels, so for example (and this is a guess) the “Performance training top” has a body that is one piece of fabric rather than 2 to 4 panels sewn together. The items that have a clickable link below give you a better idea of what the garment looks like from the zoomable picture.
