October Club Handicap Preview

The 4th Handicap Raceof the season wii be run on Wednesday, 03 October.  Registration will start about 1900 at the Clubhouse but latecomers will still be able to register at the start area in Pine Walk.

We do endeavor to get the first runner away before 1930 but, in any case, it will be dark and we ask you to wear your orange (best) or green training vests or light reflective tops so that contestants, the finishing team and other road users can easily spot you.

As usual, we require volunteers, ideally SIX, to help on the night and I know some of you have already indicated that you will be there.  I reminder also that if you finish your run on the pavement you will be given a disc with a number between 201-230 and should give your name to the pavement timer.  Similarly, road finishers will get a number between 270-300 and should report to the road timer.  Pleaase do not run off for your warm down or your dinner before giving in your disc!
