January Club Handicap this Wednesday

Sorry, couldn’t join you this evening, seemed a bit cold and, anyway, already done two runs in two days, but look forward to you joining me and the ‘team’ on Wednesday for the first Handicap of 2011.  Weather prediction looks to be fairly reasonable, no icy patches like the last time, so will expect a good turnout.

As usual, initial registration will be at the Club with later arrivals being able to sign-in at the start in PIne Walk. I’ve attached the Analysis for the December race which shows any starting time changes where applicable.  Don’t be late.

General: How to upload a file to the “Downloads” section of the website

To upload a file from your computer to the website, so that it appears in the “Downloads” section:

  1. Select Downloads from the menu on the left hand side of the club website.
  2. Click the “Submit File” icon.
  3. Select “Upload a file from your computer”, click Next.
  4. Click the Browse button, select the file on your computer you want to upload, then click the Open button.
  5. Click the Upload button.
  6. On the page that is displayed, under the “Document” tab, select which Category you want to store the file in from the drop down list (e.g. “Club Runs” – “1 to 5 Miles”.
  7. Click thebutton with a green tick on it.
  8. Done!

If none of the categories are suitable and you would like a new category created then email webmaster [ at ] 26point2.co [ dot ] uk and we will set it up for you.

If you think a news item may spark off some forum comment you can easily set up an automatic link in the article. At the botton right of the space where yout type in the news item, there is a button labelled “Insert Fireboard Discussion”.

Click on this and it will insert some text like this

Simply replace the no_discuss with the Category ID of the forum category you want the link to appear in examples given below.

They are called “User Bars” and can be used in your forum signature to show things you like, products you use or opinions you hold. As a starter, theres a fewuserbar images already installed on this site. Simply copy the code from one you like , e.g.
