Parkrunning – November 2012 round-up.

17 members ran Parkrun on the 10th, 8 at Kingston where Chris Wilson was 8th in a new PB time of 23:11, 5 at Banstead Woods and 3 at Bushy where Pat Tiernan is still posting good times with a 20:29 this week.  Simon Finch was a ‘first timer’ at Hanley, almost a year on from his last run at Bushy, and finished 20th in 23:58.

29 members ran on the 17th, somewhat surprising with the Club 10 Mile Championship on the following day.  That would not have affected Richard Kirk who was a ‘first timer’ at Amager Faelled, another possible venue for John M!  Declan Flynn ran his 150th Parkrun at Banstead finishing 8th in 19:48, and Ed Brunskill clocked 19:49 in 32nd place at Bushy, where Mick Lill also ran after a break of 4 mths.  Of the 13 runners at KIngston, Joe Chang came out top in 6th, and a time of 18:58, and Zoe Foster ran her first ever Parkrun.  Andrew was a lone Pengelly at Claisebrook Cove and Derick Wilkie ran Nonsuch.

19 members enjoyed Parkrun on the 24th. Back on home soil Richard Kirk ran his 50th Parkrun at Bushy in a PB time of 26:54, and Pat Tiernan finished within 1 sec of his time on the 10th. and with an age grading of 72.52%.  Joe Chang was the winner at Kingston in 18:27 just 12secs off his PB.  Libby Marchant was first Club Lady finishing 20th in 22:15, Kathryn Hancock was a ‘first timer’ and Zoe Foster ran a PB.
