Fresh with your success at the club mile, and with the short distance Nonsuch relays on 1 July, this week’s track session will be a ‘pyramid’. Groups of different speeds to cater for all abilities will run 2×200; 2×400; 2×800; 2×400; 2×200. The aim is to build speed, strength, and the ability to pace yourself for each distance – and have a bit of fun in the process!
Please arrive 7.15pm to do your initial warm up (eg two or three times jogging around the track), ready to start the formal warm-up promptly at 7.30pm. We meet at the Kingsmeadow track, Kingston Road. Entry is £3.40.
