Entries selling fast!

We are well ahead of the number of entries we normally have in January. This means that selling out all entries (we have an 800 limit) is a very real possibility. If we do sell out there will be no entry on the day so if you are considering entry, don’t delay too long as you may end up disappointed.

For everyone already entered, we look forward to welcoming you to Chessington on Sunday 13th Feburary!

2021 Race

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the cancellation of the Valentine’s 10k in February 2021. We had hoped our race would go ahead but due to on-going restrictions we are unlikely to be able to put on a safe event that meets all the required regulations. We do not want to disappoint our runners with a last minute cancellation and as such are making the decision to cancel now.

We haven’t yet ruled out doing an event at some time in 2021, perhaps a summer race, but currently we cannot predict when or if that could happen. Fingers crossed for a return to racing as we knew it soon.

For now, please stay safe and enjoy your running!

26.2 Road Runners Club

Thank your 26.2 RRC volunteers!

A huge thank you to all of the 26.2 RRC members who made the 2020 race possible. The conditions were described as “miserable/comical” at times however the marshals were still commended for their enthusiasm and vocal support.

An extra big thank you goes to race director Bev Gow for spending many long hours making sure the race could go ahead.
