The final installment of the Collingwood – Sutton Mob Match is fast approaching and this year we will again be hosting the final fixture on Wednesday 6th August. We plan to use the same 4.2 mile route as last year starting and finishing in the recreation ground in Green Lane at the bottom of Berrylands and we will be starting at 7pm.
Being a usual club night I hope that we will have a great turn out for this one but as well needing plenty down to run we will also require a few volunteers to marshal the course and help with the finish area and we’ll require around 6-8 people in total. So if you are around and fancy helping out or are planning on running please let me know either by email at stone.kev@gmail.com or on the forums >- here <-
We will be organising food for in the club afterwards at £5 per head so if you would like to stop back afterwards for a bit of a social please let me know in advance. I will need a definite list of numbers by Monday 4th August at the latest so make sure you let me know so you don’t miss out on the grub. For non members SRFC have agreed to allow the use of the showers on the night as well rather then having sweaty runners in the club afterwards so this is a good chance for those of you thinking of joining as a social member to try out the facilities first hand, don’t forget a padlock for the lockers if you plan to use them.
