Thank you to the 36 teams that joined in with the inaugural Imber Court Relays on Tuesday 20th June 2017. The weather and course provided great conditions for an exciting race.
Results are now online and can be downloaded here:
We look forwards to welcoming all teams back next year and hope the event will grow to welcome more clubs now that we have shown that our new location can support a successful relay event.
Finally a big thanks to our volunteers who made the event possible and especially Race Director Kevin Stone for organising and Chief Marshall John Bennett for finding the new location.
Congratulations to members Kevin Stone, Greg Whiteman and Richard Goulder who completed the North Downs Way 50 on Saturday. The grueling course takes in some extremely tough hills yet all three members completed with a smile on their face.
Richard Goulder finished the 50 miles in the top 100 finishers in 10:17:36. He was followed by Greg who put on a strong finish to get 11:12:54 and club captain Kevin Stone was well under his 12 hour goal in 11:43:27.
In other running news this weekend, members Ann Bath and Beverley Gow completed a 6-hour double with events on Friday and Sunday. They were flying high at the Top Gun run on Friday and doing anything but resting at the pajama run on Sunday. Well done ladies!

If your results are missing, please do let us know and they will be added.
Remember there will be a celebration of the achievements of all our runners at Surbiton Racket and Fitness club at 6pm on 23rd April.
Well done to the latest class of Zero2Hero graduates. Following the 14 week training programme they have gone from couch to 5k by completing Kingston parkrun on Saturday 22nd April. We look forwards to welcoming many of you to the club.
A new order window has opened for training tops. We have launched a new on-line shop to allow you to order these. You can get to the shop at: 26.2 RRC Shop.
In addition to the existing short sleeved tops, we are also now offering long sleeve options. The training tops all have a small logo on the front and large logo on the back.
Orders are being taken for training tops until 24th April 2017. Please get your order in by then.
Training tops are not official club kit. If you want to represent the club at events, please wear our official kit – an order window for official kit is now open until 18th May.

We currently have 4 teams entered into the Cotswolds 24 hour relay. Due to the popularity of the event, we are considering entering another team. This would bring our numbers to 40 runners plus family members. If you would like to be a part of a team. Please get in touch with Richard Kirk. You can do this through facebook or our contact page.
The event is a relay in teams of 8. Each runner must complete at least one 9km lap. The event is run over 24 hours so there is chance to run day time and night time laps.
The event is held over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd July in Cirencester Park. The park is on the edge of the Cirencester town centre however the campsite that we use is on the far side of the park from the town. Camping is available on Friday and Saturday nights.
If you wish to take part in a club team, it will cost £44 per runner. Family can join you on the campsite at a cost of £20 for adults and £5 for children.
This is a great social event with opportunity for as much running as you want plus time to socialise with other club members. If you want to know more about the event, please let us know and we will get a member who has run before to tell you all about it.
