Brilliant running

Luke McDonagh has recorded what must be the fastest time by a 26.2 member for some considerable time with 2hrs 50mins in the Barcelona Marathon, run under clear skies today, 6th March.

Unfortunately, Julie, our other runner, had to drop out when she fainted after getting as far as 25 miles. She was taken to hospital and, although detained overnight, was able to text Alice, who was a spectator at the event, that she was suffering nothing worse than dehydration.
