Valentines 10K – Calling all Marshals

With only one week to go until the big day I have now sent out details to all volunteers for responsibilities for the event. For those who are Marshalling I have emailed a detailed sheet for your junction which if you are unable to print to take with you on the day please let me know. Please ensure you have a copy of your sheet on the day as it has emergency contact details on it and the race referee may ask to see it.

Club Handicap Result – February 2012

You ‘Handicappers’ went mad on Wednesday evening!  Not only mad to run on such a cold evening, but, of the 37 runners who took part, 29 of you finished below or just seconds over your projected finish times, resulting in 12PBs and 4 SBs.

Maria Cenalmor was first home with a massive improvement of 1:21 on her previous best set in December last year. 2 secs ahead of Matthew Pritchard with a 0:49 improvement. with close finishing Steve Ramek and Laura Perry a further 13secs away with improvements of 1:15 and 0:59 respectively.

Jack Holland was fastest man with a PB of 16:55 and Alice Tozer fastest lady with 20:21.  Congratulations to John Matthews on entering the Mens Top 15 list at 8= with his time of 17:05.  It must be love, John!

February 2012- Club Handicap Preview

Seems to have come round again quickly, but it’s the Club Handicap tomorrow and chances are that it’s going to be a tad chilly!

I hope this wont put you off running or indeed volunteering if you intend saving yourself for something at the weekend.

Attached are the January Analysis and the current points table. Natalie Randell holds pole position, having run all seven races, with Richard Goulder and Simon Gerrard close behind.

I hope those of you that bring various bits of equipment along are able to do so tomorrow.  See you all then.
