Congratulations to Sue Esslemont who duly ran her 200th parkrun at Banstead Woods, supported by a number of her Club members.  Laura Perry, despite her ordeal in the same Park the previous evening, found the start at Bushey.

John Matthews was first timer in the 2nd ever event at Kingsbury Water, and at Kingston, Chris Wilson and Matthew Young both shaved 4 secs off their PBs, and Chairman Jo Chang ran his fastest time since September 2012.

Dave and Lizzie Wilson were first timers at Leeds where Lizzie finished with two ladies from Hyde Park Harriers in a very gentle time.  A fair bit of chat going on there, I suspect!  Danny Norman finished 4th in his 2nd run at Mile End, where Libby Marchant was a first timer.

Richard Goulder was a first timer at Milton Keynes where Ian Kimpton, of Lincoln Wellington AC, broke the course record with a 15:01.  Welcome to the ‘:01 Club’, Ian.

Derick Wilkie was ‘tail-end Charlie’ at Nonsuch in the company of a young lady first timer. Possible Wilkette, Derick?  32 members ran parkrun this week with 16 of them running Kingston.
