This is a reminder that after a break in August, the Grand Prix season is back in September with two events – the Maidenhead Half and the Ashtead 10k.

First up is the Maidenhead Half on Sunday 8 September which is also the club’s half-marathon championship.  If you haven’t already entered this event there is still time and the website indicates there are entries on the day.  http://www.purplepatchrunning.com/races/pharmalink-maidenhead-half-marathon

The second Grand Prix is the Ashtead 10k on Sunday 22 September.  This is the first time this event has featured as a Grand Prix and is a lovely out and back course on Ashtead common.  This race usually sells out by the end of August so please don’t leave entering until the last minute.  Race starts at 11am. http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/events/viewevent.asp?sp=&v=2&EN=75451&ms=
