Guys I would just like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped out either this morning or prior to today. The Valentines 10K can either make or break us as a club in the eyes of the running community and so far with the exception of one lady earlier I’ve had nothing but great feedback and that in itself is testament to the way in which the members throw themselves into the event each year. Overall the morning was a great sucess and I can now relax and maybe get a decent nights sleep, even Nelly looked 10 years younger once we got back to the club afterwards.

I know a lot of people wouldn’t realise this but we had almost 80 club members present either around the course or at the HQ this morning and I can’t think of any other race I have attended where you see that amount of club members as part of the race team so please all form an orderly circle and give yourselves a bit pat on the back, you deserve it.

For anyone who didn’t recieve a race t-shirt afterwards this morning please see either me or another committee member during the week and we’ll happily get you one from the shed.  The T-Shirts are really nice and I would be really interested to hear back from anyone who see’s other runners out and about wearing one, I think they’ll go a long way to promoting the club and the race itself.
