The club has a number of favourite races where you will see a large 26.2 RRC turnout each year. These often appear in our Grand Prix and Club Championships. Below are just some of the races we take part in.
London Marathon
Each year you will see many 26.2 members participating in the London Marathon. Several lucky club members win their place through our marathon ballot. We provide bus transportation to the start from Surbiton and often help the runners celebrate with a party afterwards.
parkrun
Club members regularly attend local parkruns. If you have not already heard of them, where have you been? These are very popular free weelky timed runs. The highest club attendance will normally be at Kingston parkrun. Almost every week you will find club members at:
See where we have all been this week on the 26.2 RRC Condolidated Club Report. It isn’t just the adult runs we are involved with. Many of our club members regularly volunteer at Surbiton Juniors parkrun.
Green Belt Relay
The Green Belt Relay is a team relay around London. 11 runners in a team run one stage each on Saturday and Sunday to circumnavigate the capital. Each year we aim to enter 2 teams.

- Claygate Country 5 (July)
- Cabbage Patch 10 (October)
