Members and newcomers are welcome to our weekly sessions.
We usually meet Mondays and Wednesdays at Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club. (Except for 4th Wednesdays in the month and 1st Mondays, see below).
7pm Mondays. Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club. “Ladder Runs”. Something for everyone over 3 to 7 miles at various paces. Various runs (3-7 miles), various speeds from Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club.
7pm Wednesdays. Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club. Various sessions or regular runs including: hills sessions, reps and tempo runs.
9am Kingston Parkrun. There’s almost always loads of us there and we stay for coffee after.
1st Mondays in the month during summer, when the clocks have gone forward, we meet at Kingston Gate car park (Ham gate April and October).
4th Wednesdays in the month all year, track at the Harrier Centre, Poole Rd, Ewell.
Run Leaders
Please note that the Club is prepared to fund run leader courses for its members on the following basis:
- The member has volunteered as either a run leader or tail runner for the Club on at least 5 Monday evenings before completing the course; and
- Absent any unforeseen change of circumstances, after completion of the course the member will continue to volunteer as a run leader or tail runner for the Club on Monday evenings on a regular basis.
If you are interested in becoming a run leader, please speak to the Club Captain or Vice-Captain.
