Regular Monday sessions
On Monday’s we meet at 7pm at Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club Small roups are lead by an experienced run leader and depart at 7:05pm. These are in a covid safe environment.
We offer runs of 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 miles. These will have at least a “steady” and a “faster” option, the shorter runs being very steady.
On arrival at the club you will typically be greeted by the club captain and helped to choose the most suitable run. If you are new to the club and social running (but socially distanced) I would recommend an easier run until you have settled in, and you can always work your way up the distances as you get fitter.
We aim to accommodate runners of all speeds.
In winter months our runs occur in the dark. Please wear suitable hi-vis clothing. This is to protect you and everyone else from collisions and to enable maintaining 2 meters distance. Communication in the group is important for safety so no headphones or similar are allowed.
Summer Richmond Park runs
On the first Monday in May, June, July, August and September we meet in Richmond park for our Monday session. With the exception of May and September, we meet at the Kingston Gate car park. In May and September we meet by Ham Gate. Please park outside the park gates in May and September as the park gates close before the end of our run.
