New Year’s Running Goal special this week so have a think about what you’d be delighted to have achieved by the end of the year. One easy, one medium, one hard.
Sadly, the club cannot meet for running because of the lockdown rules. Hopefully this will be the last lockdown and as we move through winter and the evenings start to get lighter we can look forward to the return to normality.
Meanwhile the club will be online and will be continuing to encourage running and welcoming new members.
We follow EA guidance for our running sessions, see below. The club is now operating close to normal.
EA update 13 December 2021
We are aware the UK Government has revised its guidance for COVID-19 following the spread of Omicron. At this stage, this revised guidance does not impact generally on grassroots athletics and running.
Should this change, we will provide further details on our website and via our social media channels at the earliest opportunity.
In the meantime, we would urge registered members, athletes and all participants in the sport to follow the UK Government’s revised guidance currently in place.
Grab your spouse, kids, pets or bubble and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine out there! Cover 4 miles then please register your achievement at http://www.stragglers.org/clublife/event/420713 to see if more of us can do this than our friends at the Stragglers Running Club.
