Want to improve your half marathon time?
If the answer is yes then our “Zero to Half Marathon Hero” training group could be for you. Club member James Walsh is launching the training group. If you are interested you will be able to:
- Meet once a week for a group run on a Wednesday
- Able to run at least three times a week as part of a structured training plan created by James
Our target race is the Farnborough half on the 26th January.
The Wednesday sessions will comprise of a group run focussed on a specific training session which will include ‘the easy run’, ‘threshold running’, and intervals. Following the group run, we will go over some running ‘theory’ (in a nearby pub!). At the moment the group meet at The Swan pub in Hampton Wick just over the Kingston Bridge. During general Wednesday club runs that are focussed on intervals, track sessions, and hills we would encourage “Zero to Half Marathon Hero” runners to participate and James will incorporate those into your plans for that week.
