Next Wednesday’s speed session at the track will be a ‘straight’ 10x400m. The idea is to do a consistent, but fast, pace over each of the ten reps with a jog to recover in between each. This is core speed work to improve on, for example, your 5k and 10k times. Groups will run at different speeds to suit all standards.
Please arrive 7.15pm to do your initial warm up (eg two or three times jogging around the track), ready to start the formal warm-up promptly at 7.30pm. We meet at the Kingsmeadow track, Kingston Road. Entry is £3.40.
