Track session 7.15 for 7.30pm, Wednesday 30 September 2015

This week’s track session will be a ‘pyramid’.  Groups of different speeds to cater for all abilities will run 2×200; 2×400; 3×800; 2×400; 2×200.  The aim is to build speed, strength, and the ability to pace yourself for each distance – and have a bit of fun in the process!  Speed work is really helpful to improving, for example, your 5k and 10k times – and the club 10k championships is just a month away on 1 November!

Please arrive 7.15pm to do your initial warm up (eg two or three times jogging around the track), ready to start the formal warm-up promptly at 7.30pm.  We meet at the Kingsmeadow track, Kingston Road.  Entry is £3.40.
