Our annual Valentine’s 10k race will be held on Sunday 16th February 2020. In order for this event to be a success, we need as many members to come along and help out as possible. We need people to fill roles including marshal duties, registration, start and finish line helpers and water stations. Please use the sign up sheet below to let us know if you are available to help.

We hope that once all volunteer slots are filled, some members will also be able to run the race. If you are interested in running, please enter the volunteer or run section. Please do not enter the race yet if you want to run. We need to ensure all volunteer roles are filled before we invite any members to enter.
Our annual road race, the Valentine’s 10k is now open for entries. Race day will be Sunday 11th February 2018 at 9am.
As a reminder, we would please ask that 26.2 RRC members refrain from entering at this stage as we will need many hands on the day! You can sign-up to volunteer here:

A write up of this year’s successful Valentine’s 10k is in the news. The Surry Comet have published our write up of the event. You can see the article on the Surrey Comet site.
With Valentines 10K only 1 week away we are putting the final touches to the race plan which we will share during the week. Grant will be emailing everyone around Wednesday / Thursday with details of what we require you to do on race day. Some will be asked to work in the race HQ others as marshals along the route. For those of you who are not familiar with what happens race day please read on for some guidelines for the day:
The course is a 10K route starting outside the Barwell Business park along Leatherhead Road, it heads along the Leatherhead Road and turns left towards Epsom, passes Horton Country park to Chessington, along Moor Lane and bridge Road, left back onto the Leatherhead Road and finishes at the Chessington Community College on Garrison lane. A course map can be found using the following link

Our annual Valentine’s 10k race is now just over a month away. We are hard at work with organisation and would now like to start taking names for volunteers for the event.
Without the help of club members we can’t host the event so ask all club members to come along and spare a few hours of their time. We rely on the continued success of the event to provide funds for the club.
There are many different volunteering positions available ranging from marshal duties, registration of runners, handing out water or handing out t-shirts. Once we have names of volunteers, we will get in touch with everyone about roles.
