Well done to all those that attended the Rothwell Relay’s last week. The event was well attended with 21 teams taking part. Results are available on the Stragglers website.

Well done to David Pearce who got to run the glory leg for the winning team.

“I’d like to say several sincere thank yous for making last night’s Rothwell Relays evening a special one for me. Firstly to Carys for getting me down there and back safely and all those that looked after me and made sure I was ok during the evening. To Roy, Kevin Price, Phil and all the others that stepped in to organise the race on my behalf. All those that contributed to raising £310 for Pancreatic Cancer UK on the evening. The Stragglers committee for deciding to award me the club contribution award, much appreciated, love the bespoke painted mug, and finally and most importantly to the 84 runners from Stragglers, 26.2RR and others that made the evening such a success with 21 teams nearly double the previous years record of 11 teams!”
