For the first time in 26.2’s history we have requested an entry in the Welsh Castles Relay of 2020. This relay is the weekend of June 6th and 7th and it requires 20 runners. Each runner only needs to run once over the whole weekend but the team also needs to do some marshaling and each team is in charge of its own transportation.
The relay legs are, I am told, tough. They vary in length from 8.5 – 13.1 miles but there is a very strict cut off time for each leg. Realistically all runners need to be able to run comfortably at 9 minute miles.
We won’t have our place in this event confirmed until mid-March, but if you are interested in being a part of the team, then please fill in your details below.
