Our annual race which is our main source of the Club’s revenue could not run without volunteers. Although we are a small club compared with some, newer members may not realise that this income means that we can provide free entry to many events eg Thunder Run teams, Green Belt, Horton, Nonsuch, River and Norfolk Relays, Cross Country, free food and drink at the Captain’s BBQ, free food at the Xmas party, subsidised clothing and Marathon Coaches and more! Our feed-back is always that we have such freindly marshalls, and it is very rewarding seeing the race “from the other side”! There are lots of other jobs too, and if you can’t give up all the morning then this can be accommodated. Then there is the free drink at the club afterwards!
