This wonderful event, taking in Arbrook Common and the woods of Claygate, will be even better due to the elimination of the short section by a road and the introduction of chip timing.
The highly reasonable cost of £14 should allow a treat from the ice cream van at the end and a bit of a picnic.
All club members and their loved ones are cordially invited to the annual Summer BBQ at Stirling Walk Scout HQ, Berrylands starting at noon, Sunday 9th July.
Lunch at about 1pm
We can guarantee fine food, some sporty contests and an atmosphere of friendship and celebration.
We provide the BBQ food, but please bring drinks and sides.
On Sunday, 4th June, the new Grand Prix season started with 24 club runners competing in the Dorking 10 mile race.
Ben Chown was fourth overall and 2nd in the Senior Surrey Championship race. Hannah Shaw was our first female home and 7th in Senior Championship race. Fantastic running Ben and Hannah!
There was some great times and PBs, with special shout out to Club Captain Jacqueline’s first sub 80 for 10 miles! for full results

Finally, note that this year for Club Championship races and overall Grand Prix winners, the First Past the Post winner cannot also win the Age Graded prize.

We regret that the Harrier Center track in Ewell, which is open to use by anyone on a Wednesday and not bookable has in fact been booked by another club giving us no alternative to postponing our event a couple of weeks to the 28th of June.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause however we hope you can still attend and it is sure to be a great evenings racing. There will be two or three different races depending on the number of runners.
We kick off the new Grand Prix season with a local favorite: The Dorking 10 which is also our 10 mile championship.

Our fabulous Annual Awards Night is 7pm on 20th May at Glenmore House in Surbiton. If you have booked a ticket look forward to a delicious 3 course meal, a disco, the presentation of the awards and amazing company.
Epsom Allsorts invite us to take part in the Hogsmill 5 annual club run, (women only) on 14 May 2023 at 10.00 starting from the Harrier Centre in Ewell.
This is a unique women only race hosted by a women only club.

There is a mob trophy up for grabs for the highest number of runners for a club! Since it is the same weekend as the Green Belt Relay we don’t expect to win this year…
