Over Summer months we take the opportunity to run in Richmond Park on the first Monday of the month. The runs start from Ham Gate in May and September (remember to park outside the park gates in these months) and Kingston gate car park in June, July and August. Meet at 7pm for a 7:15pm start to the run. Runs of various distances and paces will be offered as normal on a Monday night.
Note: I’ve heard from several sources that Kingston Gate will closed to vehicles for the next week, therefore ensure you allow enough time to plan an alternative route to Ham Gate should you wish to drive.

For those of you attending we kindly ask you to note the following:
If you are able to volunteer please let Steve Ramek, Bev or myself know in advance. We are always grateful for an extra pair of hands.
Please arrive in good time to register as we will be leaving the club at 7:15pm prompt in order to start at 7:30pm.
If you are running late, send a message to Steve Ramek or myself in advance to register – this helps alleviate last minute panic trying to sign-in runners at the start line.
Be mindful of the residents and keep noise to a minimum
Despite the lighter evenings, for your own safety please wear a BRIGHT REFLECTIVE TOP to ensure you are visible to other pavement/road users.
Last but not least, have fun and enjoy the evening 🙂
For those of you looking for a local, reasonably priced race over the summer months, look no further than the Surrey Road League. These are organised by local clubs and have a friendly, competitive atmosphere:
Ranelagh Richmond Half Marathon, Sunday 5th May
Sutton 10, Sunday 19th May
Dorking 10 miles, Sunday 2nd June
Richmond 10k, Sunday 16th June
Elmbridge 10k, Sunday 21st July
Wimbledon 5k, Sunday 11th August
There are individual and team prizes up for grabs, for further details, click here
In line with club tradition, we will be holding a gathering in the club bar from 6pm on the evening of the Sunday 28th April.
It’s a great chance to show off your marathon medal if you have one from this season and share your stories. The club will be providing pizza to help replace those lost calories from all of you who ran and all who spectated (because we all know supporting can be just as exhausting!).
A key date for your diaries during the busy summer months. Sunday 7th July will see the summer edition of the mob match with our local rivals at the Stragglers.
This scenic 5 mile route starting and finishing at Claygate Recreation ground, sees runners enjoying the nearby Arbrook Common over a mixture of road and trail and is always a popular fixture with our members.
Entry (£12 adults, £5 juniors) has now opened here
